Tax & Bookkeeping Services

Business Name: Taxquisite Advisors

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

By scheduling an appointment, submitting payment, or engaging services with Taxquisite Advisors, you agree to the following Terms & Services.

1. Scope of Services

Taxquisite Advisors provides professional services including, but not limited to:

Individual tax preparation

Business tax preparation

Bookkeeping & accounting services

Tax filing catch-up & cleanup

IRS and state notice assistance

Business consultations

Payroll Services

1099 & W-2 Filings

CDTFA Sales Tax Filings 

Services are provided based on the information supplied by the client.

2. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our booking system, phone, or written confirmation.

Same-day and emergency appointments are subject to availability and may require same-day payment.

Appointment confirmation is not guaranteed until payment (if required) is received.

3. Fees & Payment Terms

All fees will be disclosed before services begin.

Payment is due upfront for tax preparation, bookkeeping cleanups, consultations, and same-day services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Fees are non-refundable once work has started.

Additional fees may apply if the scope of work increases due to missing, inaccurate, or incomplete information.  Including additional time billed required due to large assignments, or no responsiveness of clients of items required to complete services.  

Payment Plan are created for clients on some of our service at our discretion and all require a set-up fee of  ($150.00 or more), based soley  on the complexity of the services requested.   

Late fees:  Are applied 5 days after services invoiced, 10% per month on any open unpaid balances. 

Accepted payment methods include electronic payment (bank Transfers), CashApp, Zelle, debit/credit card, or other approved methods. Methods are subject to third party billing fee(s), for the convenience of using said services. And shall be billed on invoices accordingly.  

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance or  incur a cancellation fee of $75.00 per occurance, billable.

No-shows or same-day cancellations may result in:

Forfeiture of deposit

Rescheduling fees

Requirement of full payment before future appointments are granted

Cancellation fees 

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information

Submit documents in a timely manner to insure work can be completed in a timely fashions

Review completed work before submission or filing

Respond promptly to requests for clarification or missing items

Taxquisite Advisors is not responsible for penalties, interest, or delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate client information.

6. Tax Filing Disclaimer

Taxquisite Advisors prepares returns based solely on information provided by the client.

Final responsibility for the accuracy of tax returns rests with the client.

Filing deadlines, penalties, or missed credits caused by late or missing documents are the client’s responsibility.

7. Bookkeeping Services Disclaimer

Bookkeeping services do not include audit, review, or assurance services.

Financial reports are prepared for internal and informational purposes only.

Client remains responsible for business decisions made using provided reports.

8. Cash Advances & Refund-Based Products (If Offered)

Any refund advance or third-party financial product is subject to lender approval.

Taxquisite Advisors does not guarantee approval, refund amounts, or processing timelines.

Terms are governed by the issuing financial institution.

9. Confidentiality

Client information is kept confidential and used solely for service purposes.

Information may be shared only as required by law or with client authorization.

10. Limitation of Liability

Taxquisite Advisors shall not be liable for:

IRS or state penalties due to client-provided errors

Delays caused by third parties or government agencies

Business losses, indirect damages, or consequential damages

Liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

11. Termination of Services

Taxquisite Advisors reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

Client fails to provide required information

Client engages in fraudulent or illegal activity

Client is abusive, threatening, or uncooperative

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Services are governed by the laws of the state in which Taxquisite Advisors operates.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, submitting payment, or engaging services, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Services.
